BT Hub Is yours working properly?

One of my customers was having problems with her technology and connections.

She had a :

•Windows Vista Laptop  she avoided turning it off because it wouldnt re-connect to her BT Hub and therefore had no internet connection.

•A printer that was connected to her BT Hub and printed wirelessly from her laptop and Ipad. This printer printed sometimes, randomly and without any reason to fail or any pattern of failure.

•Random iPad issues that required a re-set

This seems quite clear cut now, but when we were trying to diagnose it wasn’t… there was no one obvious issue. As a last resort before contacting BT, I changed the Hub to a BT Hub3. My customer saw a difference instantly. Her laptop worked properly, the printer always prints and she no longer has to keep re-setting her iPad.

The original Hub was a BT Hub 1.5 it is white and one of the first Hubs that BT supplied. They agreed to replace the hub and it’s on its way at no extra cost to her ….

So the moral of this story is if your technology is playing up, how old is your hub? perhaps you need a new one?

Call BT on 150 and be patient it’ll be worth it.
